
Every custom hull starts with your design. Our design team works closely with boat builders to translate an existing hull, or a new concept, into a print-ready 3D model, adapting shape, size and layout to your exact specifications.
From there, it goes straight into production. Our factory runs 24/7, printing hulls in HDPro without the cost or lead time of building a mould. Once printed, we offer a range of post-processing and other complementary services in-house, so your hull leaves the factory finished and ready to outfit.

Our technology has already been put to the test with partners across the maritime and defence sector. Our team's roots go back to CEAD, where they worked with the Royal Netherlands Navy and the Maritime Application Center to print a full-size RIB-style hull in 8 days. Work that led to an invitation to a NATO exercise to demonstrate rapid 3D-printed USV production. Dutch Boat Factory continues work initiated at CEAD. Such as its collaboration with Damen Compact Crafts to develop a 3D-printed HDPE workboat, exploring how additive manufacturing can make shipbuilding faster, more flexible and more sustainable.
