HDPRO
HDPro is the high performance, glass-fibre reinforced material behind every hull we print. Developed specifically for large-scale additive manufacturing, it was engineered to outperform standard HDPE while keeping the printability that makes 3D printed boats fast and cost-effective to produce. Reinforced with 25% glass fibre, HDPro is built for hulls that need to work hard, in and out of the water, for years without maintenance.
HDPRO®

Why we build with HDPro
Every hull we print carries the same demands: constant impact, salt water, sun, and years
of use with little to no upkeep. HDPro is formulated to meet all of them at once. It resists
heavy impacts without cracking, doesn't absorb water like other thermoplastics, and is
naturally more resistant to marine growth, so there's less fouling and less maintenance over
the life of the boat. It's UV stable, so no extra coatings are needed.
Impact-resistant, maintenance-free, and engineered for high strength — HDPro is the material every Dutch Boat Factory hull is made of.
